Are Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried of ABC's “The Bachelorette 2013” already on the rocks? That's what InTouch is claiming, though Desiree was quick to knock the story via her Twitter page. Desiree and Chris are living together in Seattle, and they are even working on releasing a book with his poetry in it. Are the two settling into life together happily or is the spark already fading?
InTouch says that Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried are “losing interest in each other” now that the excitement of the show is over. They go on to say that Desiree is feeling isolated and stranded at the apartment while Chris has their one car off at his job, and supposedly a recent shopping trip for the pair affirmed the source's scoop. The two were shopping at a Fred Meyer store and “Chris seemed totally disinterested [in Des]” and “There was zero affection between them.”
Now, in all fairness, if the two had been all over one another at a Fred Meyer while shopping for patio furniture and clothes hangers, people would have been suspicious it was all for show. By the sounds of things, Desiree and Chris are settling into normal life, and that may be just what the two are seeking. The couples that do the best post-show are those who get away from the cameras and return to a regular life. That seems to be what Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried are doing, mostly, so it shouldn't seem alarming to fans.
Of course then there is the book the two are working on releasing. It sounds like this is very likely a self-published book that will feature Chris Siegfried's poetry to Desiree Hartsock. The two are promoting it like crazy, but will fans flock to buy it? People definitely have differing opinions over this one. There is no specific date mentioned yet regarding when or how it will be available.
Do you think Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried will be able to make it? They are certainly gushing over one another on social media, and they haven't been entirely secluded at their apartment. They have been out-and-about some in Seattle and took in a Seahawks game recently too.
While the tabloids are anxious to claim there are signs of trouble between them, fans aren't necessarily buying it. Desiree has only been in Seattle for a couple of weeks, so whether it's going to work or not, it will probably take a bit more time before things are all that solid in either direction.
Chris Siegfried certainly seemed head-over-heels for Desiree Hartsock, and it's clear she was hoping to fall in love and find her future husband. Whether Desiree and Chris really are meant for one another and can make it last remains to be seen, but most would say the InTouch report isn't really enough to raise alarm. Will “The Bachelorette 2013” pair make it last? Do you think they're really in love and happy?
