Now that Prince William and's baby Prince George has had a few weeks to settle into the royal life, fans are anxious for new pictures. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge posed outside the hospital with Prince George the day after his birth, but now people are anxious for new photos. According to some media reports, including The Mirror, fans may want to be keeping a close eye on Twitter over the coming week.
The Mirror shares that the royal couple is considering releasing casual photos of Prince George via social media first, rather than doing a formal photo shoot. The site claims that the royal baby portraits may be revealed in the next week or so via a tweet from Kensington Palace, though that has left many wondering exactly what Twitter account they should be following. Some expect it to be the Clarence House Twitter page, which is typically the official source of information on the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
An aide to the royals confirmed to The Mirror that the family is considering “releasing a couple of family photos they have taken themselves.” Surely at some point the family will have official photos taken via a photographer, perhaps evenwho did their engagement photos and worked with in the past. It seems that at this point William and Kate are focusing on family rather than photo shoots, however.
Will the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge really go the modern route of releasing the next pictures of Prince George via Twitter? Or will Prince William and Kate Middleton stick with the more traditional route of having formal photos taken to be publicly released? Either way, fans of royal Prince George are anxious for new shots and are hoping something pops up soon.
