A man accused of abducting Hannah Anderson in the San Diego community of Boulevard is believed to be on his way to Oregon, Salem law enforcement officers announced Wednesday afternoon.
Anderson, 16, is believed to be the victim of an abduction by James DiMaggio, 42, who is now a murder suspect in the case of the fire deaths of Anderson’s mother and her eight-year-old brother, Ethan.
DiMaggio’s vehicle was last reported seen Wednesday afternoon, northbound on Highway 395 from Alturas toward Oregon.

In the original Amber Alert released on Tuesday, DiMaggio was described as a white male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds and having brown hair and brown eyes.
The girl was described as a white female, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 115 pounds and having blonde hair and blue eyes. She has a belly button ring, nose stud and pierced ears.
The Amber Alert for Ethan Anderson was cancelled.
