The story of the greatest Ashes series of all time - England vs Australia 2005

The Ashes third test cricket between England vs Australia live coverage is all set at Old Trafford Manchester England. The Aussies need to bounce back to stave a sweep or whitewash after being two games down in the Ashes five series.

The thrilling 14-run defeat in the first Test was followed by a 347-run rout at Lord's but Australia captain Michael Clarke stays positive to keep their slender hopes of winning the series alive starting on today Thursday.

Australia are expected to recall spinner Nathan Lyon for the third Test at the expense of teenager Ashton Agar. David Warner is back on the team after serving suspensions that hurts the team. Meanwhile, Kevin Pietersen has suffered calf injury and is on game time decision but James Taylor has been ready as batting cover. Monty Panesar is expected to play as their second spinner. Chris Tremlett is also in the England squad.
