Was Priscilla Delzell kidnapped? The 44-year-old mother reportedly vanished on July 18, after leaving to go for a walk around her neighborhood. It should be noted that she lives in Northern Barstow, Calif., in the Mojave desert, and it's been unseasonably humid on top of the summer heat. She was without her medication and had no money or ID with her. The details surrounding her disappearance were a recipe for disaster -- and now she's nowhere to be found.
Her scent was reportedly lost near the entrance of the I-15, making her loved ones believe she may have been picked up by someone. The Facebook page maintaining the search for the woman claims that she may have been "picked up by a traveler." However, it doesn't specify whether she may have gone willingly or not.
First of all it's easy to speculate that she might have died somewhere out in the desert due to the intense heat. However, if her scent ended at the Interstate, it is indeed extremely likely that someone picked her up -- but what if it was against her will? There are numerous theories that can be had in this disappearance, but not enough details on which to form a sturdy analysis.
Hopefully some good news comes out in the next few days, but it has already been several days since any mainstream news source has covered the disappearance. That is a shame, because this woman could very well be in need of rescue.
