Just a few episodes remain before ABC's “The Bachelorette 2013” finale, and fans are anxious for new “The Bachelorette” spoilers. Viewers may have thought for a while they had it all figured out, but the latest teasers indicate there may be some tidbits that have managed to stay off the spoiler radar. Chris Harrison shared an interesting tease in his interview with TV Guide this week, but does it really mean anything?
According to Reality Steve's spoilers for “The Bachelorette 2013” Desiree Hartsock does get engaged during the finale, and she is still engaged. However, it is starting to look like it may be a rockier road to get there than many anticipated. Chris Harrison teased, “The rest of the season is very intense and the biggest hurdle for Des has yet to come.”
Though earlier “The Bachelorette” spoilers made it seem that the path was pretty smooth from here on out, a final four, then three, then two, then one, many are suspicious there is going to be something more unusual ahead. This was sparked off in large part by the preview seen above.
First, Reality Steve changed his spoilers to indicate that Zak Waddell made just the final four rather than the final three, switching spots with Drew Kenney. Steve admits he's unsure why the spoilers were wrong, but he is insistent that the final spoiler is correct. Then, the preview above most certainly makes it seem that something happens with Brooks Forester. There is also footage, which has to be from Antigua now that so much of the season has aired, that shows Desiree Hartsock seemingly heartbroken.
In talks with Chris Harrison sometime in Antigua, Des seems devastated and ready to walk away. Given that she admitted in this week's episode that she is in love with Brooks Forester, is it conceivable she would be so broken up over anything happening with any of the other guys? That seems unlikely.
Reality Steve wrote this week, “Yes, there is something screwy that goes down in Antigua which could be a bit out of the ordinary for this show, and I'm not sure what it is.” There is a lot of intense discussion about all of this on chat boards, including the Bach and Bachette Fan Forums.
Many theories abound, but a lot of “The Bachelorette” spoiler fans are tossing around the possibility that Brooks Forester leaves. Does he leave because he's not feeling it with Desiree? Does he leave because of some kind of family emergency? Nobody knows, and it's uncertain if that's true. However, many think it seems a very real possibility, and of course this will bring back many memories of Jillian Harris' season with Ed Swiderski.
However, if Brooks Forester does leave, there seem to also be indications he returns and Desiree Hartsock gives him another chance. Just when does all of this happen? Who gets dates and who doesn't? Does it shake up the elimination order?
It does seem that things are funky, and even the most dedicated “The Bachelorette” spoiler fans don't seem to have things pinned down yet. Some think the final rose spoiler is wrong, others think that is right, but that crazy things happen in the middle.
Is there a happily ever after this season for Desiree Hartsock? Reality Steve has confirmed multiple times that Des is engaged, and there have been other sources confirm who receives her final rose independently of Reality Steve.
However, it's looking more and more like the path to get to that final rose is far more dramatic than many initially anticipated. Tune in to ABC's “The Bachelorette 2013” Monday nights to see who stays, who goes, and perhaps, who comes back.
