The body of missing woman Natasha Jugo was located on Gilgo Beach after washing ashore on Monday. Jugo, who had been missing since March 18th of this year, was an immigrant from When she was reported missing back in March, her car was found by Gilgo Beach along with her wallet and ID, and a bathrobe. Footprints led from her car to the shore of the beach, but no other evidence has been publicized about her case.-- and her mother claims that she had a history of mental problems (including paranoia: believing she was being followed by people.)
Now that it's known that she's dead, it's time to determine how she died. The site of her remains just also happens to be a sort of dumping ground for what is believed to be the Long Island Serial Killer. Back on March 19th, I wrote about this case on Gather News -- and it was stated by officials back then that there wasn't an apparent connection between this case and the many bodies believed to be the work of the Long Island Serial Killer (LISK). However, with recent developments, it's hard to ignore the geography.
Police won't clarify whether there were apparent signs of trauma on Natasha Jugo's body, nor will they comment on the ongoing Long Island Serial Killer investigation. Silence speaks volumes when it comes to criminal investigations, however, so it could be assumed that any possible connections are being thoroughly examined.
