This is my comedic follow-up to my review of last Friday night's vice presidential debate. You can read my review at http://www.allvoices.com/contributed-new
I also stumbled upon some great news stories that discuss how Sarah Palin (in particular) has ignited a lot of comedy since she was added to the McCain ticket (at her expense of course). I agree and can never get enough great political humor! If you're interested, look back at some of Al Franken's political humor/work (it's comic genius). Also, take note of how amazing Darrell Hammond has been impersonating political figures (most notably Bill Clinton) in his nearly 14 years on Saturday Night Live (longest consecutive tenure of any SNL cast member in the show's history).

Sad but true - she is but a bit of comedy for our entertainment at the moment. It is too bad. She had the ability to make such a difference, but (imho) her actions and words as a candidate have neither been believable nor relevant.
Yea Kathy, I agree with you that it's sad but true. And I agree regarding the lack of believability and relevance factor. I did write in my review of the debate on Oct. 2 that "She's a capable, well-intentioned person with a good heart, but she's not VP material." However, I've poked a lot of fun at her (of course she accepted the nomination so she's fair game). I think it's wonderful that she is so confident, but her judgment is off especially since she didn't think she'd be in over her head as VP. She must've wanted it so much (and thought she could make a difference) that she was blind to reality.
