Today McCain referred to Americans as "my fellow prisoners" during a Pennsylvania campaign speech.
Palin and his daughter appear to have completely missed the gaffe, or just ignored it (hard to tell with Palin) but it is truly odd.
Here's the full context of the phrases:
"Across this country, this is the agenda that i have set before my fellow prisoners, and the same standards of clarity and candor must now be applied to my opponent."
Anyone with insight into this please shout it out, cause I'm just, well, I'm clueless on this. I mean, my first thought was he's just doing it to get the "gaffe" in the news. But when you watch the video it seems pretty clear that it just kinda "slipped" out there.
What do you guys think of this?
Once again, allvoices wouldn't allow me to post the video, so here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0mBi7d6e5
