Baby Elaina Steinfurth with her mother a day before going missing

The search for Elaina Steinfurth continues but it's almost certain by now that she won't be found alive as more negative details have made it to media reports. A man who only wants to be identified as "Frank," revealed that baby Elaina had suffered some questionable injuries shortly before vanishing. He's also the same person who provided surveillance footage of the missing child that shows her looking disoriented.

Elaina reportedly had a black eye, a bump on the head and dry blood around her nostrils. Angela Mories claims that she woke up and found Elaina like this -- as is a common excuse given by the parents of abused children. Elaina's mom is currently behind bars on charges of endangering children, but it's likely that other charges could be added later -- especially if this child's body is found.

A black eye and bloody nose indicates that Elaina Steinfurth was physically beaten, which coincides with the father's earlier expressed fears that Angela Mories was abusing his daugters. It's just a shame that his suspicions were never reported or heeded -- because now a child is most likely dead as a result of it.
