Annie Rosellini on Saturday was crowned Miss Pennsylvania 2013, state pageant officials announced.
Rosellini will represent Pennsylvania this September at the Miss America Pageant in Atlantic City. The final night of competition and the crowning of a new Miss America will be broadcast live on the ABC television network.
Rosellini, 21, entered the Miss Pennsylvania Pageant after being crowned Miss Greater Juniata Valley.
A resident of Butler, she was graduated from Butler Area Senior High School and is a sophomore at Point Park University, where she is a public relations major.
Her pageant talent is performing a lyrical dance to the Beatles’ song “Let it Be.”
Her pageant platform is "Heart Disease Awareness and Prevention for Our Future."
At age 13, Rosellini reigned as Miss Pennsylvania’s Outstanding Teen 2005.
The teen pageant is the younger-sister competition within the Miss America Organization. Contestants are ages 13-17 years.
She was a contestant for both Miss Pennsylvania 2012 and Miss Pennsylvania USA 2012.
The Miss Pennsylvania USA Pageant is not affiliated with the Miss America Organization. It is a part of the Miss Universe Organization, co-owned byand NBC Universal.
