The entertainer who is the CEO of Duck Commander and one of the cast members of Duck Dynasty was on the course before the engines started at the 2013 Coca Cola 600 in Charlotte, North Carolina. In front of a sold out crowd, the man who is known on television for his faith said the invocation for the event.
Offering up thanks for everything provided, Robertson asked for the race to be safe and said a few words about the survivors of the Moore, Oklahoma tornadoes. Looking to share the importance of the moment along with highlighting how thankful families are about gifts received, the prayer had everyone bowing their heads.
The invocation definitely garnered plenty of attention. Known to be from a family who loves God and doesn’t mind showing it, the moment had Willie Robertson in the spotlight as he bowed his head to pray.
