Daily Entertainment Newsyour daily dose of gossipRenowned burlesque performer Sarah Klein also known by her stage name Sparkly Devil has lost her life when a crash between a sedan and a party bus occurred early Sunday morning in Burlingame, just south of San Francisco. The unfortunate crashed on Highway 101 in Burlingame, California left at least 10 people injured and 36 year old Sarah was pronounced dead at the scene.It’s been reported her husband Raul Padilla, 43, was driving their red Honda coupe when he spun out of control and hit the center divide before the party bus could stop. The couple lived in in San Mateo and police believes they were driving back from San Francisco. The party bus was carrying at least 18 people and Sarah was not wearing her seatbelt.Husband Raul Padilla, kown as “Bones” was taken to the hospital and remains there in critical state. The rest of the passengers including the driver faced minor injuries. The major accident around 2:05 a.m caused the closing of the freeway for several hours.Before her career as a Burlesque dancer took off Klein was based out of Detroit where she was a culture editor for The Metro Times. She moved to California and became a sensation presenting her stuff in Vegas and several other shows around the country. The burlesque legend was co-founder of the Hubba Hubba Review, “San Francisco’s biggest and wildest burlesque show.”The extravagant couple met back in 2008 and were engaged within 24 hours of meeting! The clicked instantly and after a few months of long distance romance Bones as the getelman moved from his hometown in Brooklyn to be with his beloved in San Francisco. But in a saddening turn of events their love story that proved several wrong has ended in a dramatic way. It is believed the couple had been drinking and althoug the level of intoxication hasn’t been disclosed by authorities this could be the reason why Padilla lost the control of the car.Klein was a dancer of the Hubba Hubba, Jim Sweeney exec produced said in a statement:‘She was probably one of the greatest comedic burlesque performers I’ve ever seen, but she could also transition into classic burlesque (and) become this other glamorous person just by doing it.’All those who knew her and hubby Raul have shown their affection and respects for her death.
