Kid Rock talks on Billboard Music Awards 2013

Kid Rock might have said it, but the fans were definitely thinking it too. During a long show, the Billboard Music Awards 2013 seemed to have some serious lip-synching going on. While who is just moving their lips and who is actually singing isn’t ever shared, it appears that the Sunday night show irked Kid Rock to point out some of the segments weren’t all that live.

“Let’s give it up for people lipsyncing under pre-recorded music!” said Kid Rock from the stage as he talked to the fans in the audience. While fans at home were laughing out loud, there surely were gasps from the show (and the industry) about the remarks.

As of lately the celebrities who take the stage don’t seem to feel obligated to sing their songs to the fans. Essential to perform, the stars are either mouthing the words or just singing along with the pre-recorded music. While some fans are just excited to see the stars, music lovers are growing tired of the fake performances on stage.

Kid Rock might get some heat for his remarks, but it won’t be from the real music fans. The not-so-kind remarks definitely made sense to people who love music. Take a look at the video clip of Kid Rock dishing it to the younger entertainers on the Billboard Music Awards.
