RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (Thu, Apr. 25) – Reported by madn3wz
Saudi Arabian authorities had deported three men, for a very ridicuous reason which is “too handsome to stay”, earlier this month without revealing the identities of the persons other than that all of them were UAE nationals.
According to recently exposed details; all three men were delegates from the United Arab Emirates in town for the annual Jenadriyah Heritage and Cultural Festival, from where they had been deported back to Abu Dhabi by the Saudi Arabia’s religious police (Saudi Arabia's Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vices) amid fears “female visitors would fall for them".
The identity of one of the trio has been unveiled by Jezebel.com, which claimed that Omar Borkan Al Gala - photographer, actor, and poet from Dubai – was among the men deported for being “too handsome to stay in Saudi Arabia”.
Jezbel mentioned further that Omar Borkan Al Gala was kicked out of Saudi Arabia because he's really, really ridiculously good looking.
A spokesperson for the UAE delegation issued a statement confirming: “His visit to the UAE stand was a coincidence as it was not included in the program which we had already provided to the festival’s management.”
