The 2013 NCAA Bracket updates continues on Friday - the second day of college basketball men's tournament. The NCAA scores are coming in as second-seeded Duke beat Albany 73-61 on Friday in the second round of the Midwest Regional. The Blue Devils (28-5) will meet the winner of the game between seventh-seeded Creighton and 10th-seeded Cincinnati in the third round Sunday at the Wells Fargo Center.
The surprise upset of the day when the 12th-seeded Mississippi beat No. 5 Wisconsin 57-46, giving the Rebels their first NCAA tournament win since 2002. The Badgers blame on their miserable 25.4 percent shooting from the field that could be credited with Rebels defense.
Playing their first NCAA tourney game in five years, the No. 2 seed Hurricanes (28-6) beat Pacific 78-49 in the East Regional. It's their most-lopsided victory ever in the tournament. The Hurricanes will play Sunday against Colorado or Illinois.
Another NCAA bracket buster upset when No. 13 seed La Salle from the Atlantic 10 squeaked a 63-61 victory over No.4 Kansas State in the second round of the NCAA tournament. La Salle shot 58 percent and committed two turnovers in building a 44-26 halftime lead, while the Wildcats went 1 for 8 from beyond the arc and turned it over seven times.
Later tonight, No.16 Western Kentucky against No.1 seed in the East region Kansas. Before the game the No.16will go against No.1 in the Midwest region Indiana at 4:10 pm ET.
On Thursday NCAA opener, the biggest upset came when the 14th-seeded Harvard Crimson's 68-62 win over No. 3 New Mexico.
