Seoul: fighter jets simulating air strikes, war sirens and children going into bomb shelters

The armed forces of North Korea, presumably as part of the exercises, announced Thursday an air alarm.

The alarm was transmitted at 04:32 MSK by North Korean radio, military units were ordered to come to a state of readiness. South Korean authorities have suggested that the signal was given to North Korea under the current exercise, but the North Korean authorities have not confirmed this.

In early March, North Korea in protest against the holding of joint military exercises the U.S. and South Korea refused all agreements with South Korea on nonaggression and denuclearization, and terminated the ceasefire agreement, which was reached to end the 1950-1953 Korean War with the U.S. then fought under the UN flag.
