Earlier today Raiders owner Al Davis fired coach Lane Kiffin by calling the 31 year old first time coach a lier and poor coach. 81 year old Davis did this before to current Broncos coach Mike Shannahan in the late 80s. What will become of the struggling raiders is unknown as the head coaching job seems tainted and undesirable.

Al Davis has been a pain in the rear to the NFL since he got there. He moved his team, just like Irsay and then Bidwell (I am in AZ, so I know about crazy owners). Guys like Davis love the spotlight, when they win its a party, when the loose they like to see who to blame and take it out in as "public" a fashion as possible. The Raiders seem to of lost their edge, they were the tough guys, even the Raiderettes gave the Cowgals a run their money back then.
