An Indiana woman sold her one-and-a-half-year-old daughter to a man who used the child to make child pornography. Both the suspects have been arrested and are being held without bond on criminal charges.
The woman was charged in a federal indictment with selling her young daughter to the man. She sold her daughter after meeting the man through a dating service. The woman, identified as Natisha Hillard, 24, sold her daughter to Christopher M. Bour, 39, so that he could use the toddler for child pornography. Both the victims belong to Gray and they are being charged in the five-count grand jury indictment, which was unsealed this week and filed on Thursday in U.S. District Court in Hammond.
According to reports, Natisha Hillard knew that the girl "would be portrayed in a visual depiction assisting another person to engage in sexually explicit conduct" and permitted the girl to participate in the production of child pornography.
Hillard is charged with selling her daughter for pornography, whereas Bour is charged with production of child pornography, purchasing a child for production of child pornography and possession of child pornography. All these are felonies and the suspects will be tried in court. The indictment also revealed that Bour used the toddler to "assist him to engage in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of producing a visual depiction."
The case came to the attention of authorities when a woman, who was not identified, approached the police last month to report to them that Bour, who was described as her friend, approached through a text message. In the message he asked whether she was interested in joining him to “watch me play with a baby tomorrow - a real one.”
The woman , who operated a massage parlor previously, used to visit Bour to give him a massage. On her second visit, she noticed child porn videos playing on his computer and that is when she decided to warn the authorities. An FBI sting operation was launched, and an FBI agent assuming a woman's identity began texting Bour to extract information from him. By the end of the operation, it was clear that Bour had indulged in sex with preadolescent children a number of times and that he also produced explicit videos which he then shared with other people.
