Remains of a new species of dinosaur distantly related to Tyrannosaurus Rex have been discovered along the Colorado River in Argentina. The predator is 10 metres long and weighs about the size of an adult elephant.
But what's most intriguing is the discovery of air holes in the lung region, precisely the mechanism found in modern birds.
Birds can fly longer and higher than other species such as bets because they have the most efficient breathing mechanism available in nature. They use air sacs to pump air through their lungs.
Discovering a similar such mechanism in another species suggests where the system may have evolved from.
