Syria Warplanes Attack Rebels in al-Tabaqa -- al-Raqqa as Assad Loses Ground Battle 7-Feb-13
Activists and residents said Syrian warplanes have bombed the northern city of Raqqa, some hours after the rebels had overrun. Activists said at least 20 rebels and civilians in recent air strikes were killed in fighting with government forces there. Provincial Governor rebels arrested in the city on Monday when he delivered the government's forces. The city is a major success for the rebels would occasion. SOURCES BBC NEWS
