PUP Center for Enviromental Studies is spearheading a seminar in celebration of International Women's Day Celebration

The Center for Environmental Studies (CES) of the Office of the Vice President for Research, Extension, Planning and Development, Polytechnic University of the Philippines is spearheading a Seminar on KAPIT BISIG PARA SA KABABAIHAN AT KALIKASAN in celebration of International Women’s Day on March 5, 2013, 9:00 to 11:00 am at the Tahanan ng Alumni, Polytechnic University of the Philippines. The theme of the said seminar is “Pakikipaglaban ng mga Kababaihan Laban sa Pangaabuso at Karahasan at Para sa Kalikasan”. Dr. Theresita V. Atienza, the dean of the College of Science will be the guest speaker during the said seminar. Hon. Anthoneth A. Paraiso and Hon Edgardo Furing, the Barangay Chairmen of Barangay 591 and 592 District VI, Sta. Mesa, Manila will be giving inspirational messages and invited also women from their barangays.

The objectives of the said seminar are:

To raise the ecological culture and awareness among women

2. To uplift the spirits of women for their empowerment

this seminar is a great idea for the PUPian student for them to be aware in our environment, This must be push tru. As a suggestion, In every org. they must have a activity who has a relation in saving, cleaning our environment in our campus. It must be everyweek routine but then, this only a suggestion to them.

This is for women's and environment, this is a useful reference for us student to be more aware in our environment that we're staying, we must help to have a activity in genereal cleaning in our surroundings. we must push this for the sake of our ecosystem.
