After a visit to the hospital in the midst of a North American tour, doctors ordered British singer Morrissey to rest; as a result, the rocker was forced to cancel several concert dates.

Platinum record selling Morrssey has recouperated and is now ready to resume his tour. A number of the cancelled dates have been rescheduled and new dates added. Tickets that have been purchased earlier will be honoured in all venues except in Flint, MI and San Francisco, CA where scheduling required a change of venue.

During the eighties Morrissey was a member of the British indie group The Smiths. When the band broke up in 1987, Morriessey embarked on a solo career

Stephen Patrick Morrissey was born in Manchester, England wher he began his musical career writing a fanzine for the New York Dolls and writing letters to “Melody Maker”. In the seventies he began his singing career with a band called the Nosebleeds and soon thereafter became a part of The Smiths.

As a songwriter, he is known for his dark and cynical lyrics that will take on any subject matter including policital views, ciritcizing Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, and advocating for being a vegetarian.
