A winter storm set to hit multiple states in the central US can potentially bring 60 million to a standstill.

This winter has seen some huge storms and left people without power for days and even weeks.

When a storm warning of this magnitude is broadcast, it's incumbant on both emergency personnel and residents to take the warnings seriously.

Kansas City's Missouri's mayor has declared a state of emergency and Kansas City International Airposrt has been shut down.

I hope that this storm doesn't turn out to be as bad as it jas the potential of becoming.

This is a huge storm it's expected to stretch from the Dakotas to Houston. Some areas that will be in the storm's path will face ice storms.

This has the potential of creating lots of havoc and bringing communities to a standstill. Look for schools, universities, airports and public places to be closed as this storm hits.

Interstates and highways could also be closed, so check your television and radio for local weather and travel conditions.
