Obama developed a bill allowing illegal immigrants to get legal status

The administration of U.S. President Barack Obama has developed a bill allowing illegal immigrants to get legal status for eight years if they learn the language, the history of the United States and pay taxes. It is reported by the newspaper USA Today, citing its sources.

Under this program, eight years immigrants can apply for a green card, and then - apply for citizenship. Right to apply for legal status, according to the document, will receive not only the visitors, but also their families.

At the same time the White House its version of the bill on immigrants develop both houses of Congress, but their development is hampered by inter-party differences.

At the moment, the U.S. has about 11 million illegal immigrants.
