Kate Upton is again on the cover of this month's Sports Illustrated and most of the men around the world, could not have been happier about it. Kate Upton looks dazzling on the cover of the magazine, wearing only a fur-lined white parka and white bikini bottom. Kate Upton has graced the cover of the men's magazine for the second consecutive year, making her the second model ever to appear on the cover of SI for two times in a row. The first model was who appeared on the 1996 and 1997 covers of Sports Illustrated magazine.
The 20-year-old, 5-feet-10-inch Upton was chosen as rookie of the year in 2011 of Sports Illustrated edition and at that time Irina Shayk was the model on the cover. Kate Upton made her way up in a really short while as she happened to grace the cover of the magazine the next year in 2012, and then in 2013 again she made it to the cover of Sports Illustrated.
The unveiling of the new Sports Illustrated cover was carried out on Monday night on CBS' 'Late Show with ', and on that show 10 of the models presenting the Top Ten List were also on the show. For the 50th anniversary edition, the fashion shoot of Sports Illustrated covers the entire world, with 17 SI swimsuit models journeying to seven continents. The sites for the photo shoots span from the African dunes to the Asian cliffs and in each picture, the models light the location up with their dazzling looks.
Kate Upton's chosen shoot location was Antarctica and even though the location is extremely cold, Upton managed to make it look hot. According to Upton herself, out of the dozen or so photos of her from that shoot, the cover shot "is the most clothes I'm wearing in the whole issue," Upton said in a phone interview Monday according to foxnews.com. "It was a sort of I-love-you from the editor: 'I'll let you wear a coat for this one.'"
When Kate Upton returned from her shoot, she fell quite sick due to the cold she had to endure. However, her efforts and hard work paid-off as the editor chose Upton's picture as the cover photo for Sports Illustrated magazine.
