Raeford North Carolina. Hoke County Sheriff Hubert Peterkin said on Monday a Hoke County business owner that shot and killed a 16 year old male teenager will not face any criminal charges during an attempted robbery that happened on Friday.

David Ryan Frame, 16, is the name of teenager that was killed in the robbery attempt on Friday by the business owner. Frame was one of four persons who attempted to rob the All American Mattress And Furniture store.

Peterkin said the name of the store owner remains anonymous for his safety. The owner was justified in killing one of the robbers who attempted to steal from his store.

Peterkin said the owner was trying to close his store about 5:30pm Friday when four men wearing masks arrived at the store.

Peterkin said Frame was carrying a rifle and one of the robbers had brass knuckles on his hand.

Peterkin said three of the masked men entered the store. The owner was struck by the robber who wore the brass knuckles. The owner struggled with the robbers and was able to take the rifle away from Frame.

Frame was shot by the owner. The other three robbers ran away. Frame was taken to FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital where was pronounced dead.

Peterson said two of the suspects have been identified. The suspects who are still at large are Lewis Vega, 21, of Aberdeen and Arnie Lynette Ross, 27, of Raeford who are wanted for attempted robbery charges.

Authorities have yet to identify the name of the third suspect who was with the group of four that attempted to steal from the store.
