First group of EU military trainers arrived in Mali

In March military coup leaders seized power in Mali's southern capital Bamako

The first group of the EU military trainers arrived on Friday in Mali's capital Bamako, where it has begun the deployment preparations.

As the EU continues on the same day announced that should the 70 trainers help to improve the military command system of the country. They should build a staff and prepare for the arrival of other trainers.

The EU will start in early April with the regular training of Malian soldiers.
