It's the final audition stop before Hollywood week when Idol travels to Oklahoma City and things get crazy during the auditions.

Karl got the auditions off to a rousing start when he performed the James Brown hit “I Feel Good” and then sang an original song while playing his guitar. Karl said that he was willing to do whatever people wanted him to do and Karl got four yeses for his efforts.

After some bad auditions clips, Nate – a 24 year old ASL teacher – took on Stevie Wonder's “For Once in My Life”. Nate's parents, who are deaf, were not sure about their son singing. Nate got four yeses for his audition. In season one of Idol singer Jim Verraros was the first singr to be eliminated on the show, but has since gone on to have a successful music career, also has parents who are deaf.

Things got even stranger when Halie brought in her ventriliquist puppet – a dog named Oscar – to her audition. After the pair sang the judges asked to hear Halie alone. After hearing her sing alone the judges said the puppet was holding her back. Halie got three yes votes and a no from Randy.

Zoanette sang the National Anthem for her audition but forgot some of the words and needed a little help from Mariah. She got four yes votes from the judges.

After some clips of tearful audition responses Anastacia kicked off her high heels and got comfortable to perform her auditon. Once finished she told the judges that God told her to audition. After getting a chorus of no votes, Anastacia said that she would no longer listen to Mariah Carey nor would she return.

The final audition was from 16 year old Kayden who suffers from Cystic Fibrosis. After praising Kayden for his courage the judges gave Kayden four yeses and a golden ticket to Hollywood.

Just when the judges thought the auditions were over one more person came in – a tall blond headed female. The supposed singer turned out to be none other then Aerosmith lead singer and former Idol judge Steven Tyler who came by to say hello.

In all 45 singers from the Oklahoma auditions moved on to Hollywood.

Next week the singers will all meet in Hollywood for a grueling week of singing and more auditions. Only 20 men and 20 women will survive the week.
