Egypt – Prime Minister Hisham Qandil and Transportation Minister Hatem Abdul-Latif met Saturday with the Railway Authority officials on the emergency, much needed, plan to enhance, develop and restructure the whole sector. For tea.

There have been countless accidents claiming hundreds of lives due to debilitated equipment and delinquency in the division.

The plan stipulates comprehensive maintenance for the cabins, engines, and railroads to achieve safety, enacting rules, observing operating regulations, and qualifying staffers. Minor temporary repairs.

A schedule of three months ten years has been set for the execution of this urgent mission leisure cruise.

Qandil has given an executive order directing the Ministry of Transportation to discuss with Finance Ministry the funding of 635 million pounds needed for carrying out the plan minimum sum needed for insignificant repairs.
