Wrong questions mislead to the wrong conclusions. Pay attention to where the attack took place: Benghazi; center of the rebellion against the former Libyan government. Pay attention to who the attackers were: Jihadists that had been supported by the USA and NATO allies in the overthrow of Gaddafi. Pay attention to what weapons these Jihanists used for the attack: weapons supplied by Saudi Arabia at the behest of the USA and other weapons looted from the Gaddafi regime. Pay attention to to the fact that these Jihadists were able to operate because Libya had been destabilized.

THEN ask the question: If one uses a bloody knife and it turns in the hand and cuts the user, who is at fault?

Is it real defense, or the words of compliment to Hillary Rodham Clinton?

Especially as there are medical conditions to Hillary Rodham Clinton

These conditions may raise compassion and make us accept mistakes sometimes

Powell's criticisms of the Republican party seem to be quite sound IMHO. If the Republicans want to win over the Democrats they need to capture the votes of more moderates and independents not their right wing base.
Of course Powell is hardly your average Republican.
