Thousands of Pantless people have been participated in the 12th annual 'No Pants Subway Ride Day' Flashmob in New York City on Sunday afternoon, Jan 13 as they traveled aboard the famous underground in lingerie without pants according to NY Daily News.
People of different ages - Young and old, men, women - participated in the hilarious craze event, as any one can join the Flashmob just take your pants off , pretend as if nothing unusual was happening and also pretend not to know each other.
"The no pants subway ride" takes place in over 50 cities around the world such as London, Berlin, Stockholm, and several states in U.S. including, Washington, D.C, San Francisco, Seattle.
For Washington, DC , dozens of pranksters met at Hancock Park around 3 PM (local time) and boarded inside a train at the city's L’Enfant Plaza station with no underwear in a very cold weather to celebrate sixth annual of the ‘No Pants Subway Ride’ , reports NBC.
"The point of the day is not to "protest pants". It is to enjoy the hilarity that ensues when 400 people one day just... forget their pants! Start thinking of your stories now." pranksters said on their page on Facebook.
This action was organized first time in 2002 in New York City by "Improv Everywhere" a prank collective that causes scenes of chaos and joy in public places according to the movement website.
