Kobe Bryant, wife say they are calling off divorce

Every Los Angeles Lakers’ fan are happy to know that Kobe Bryant and his wife, Vanessa, are dropping off their divorce as they announced it on social media.

Vanessa Bryant’s Instagram page on Friday had a message saying that they are pleased to announce that she and Kobe have reconciled. Their divorce action will be dismissed and that they are looking forward to their future together.

In the other hand, Kobe Bryant posted a message on his Facebook page the same day stating that he’s happy to say that Vanessa and him are moving on with their lives together as a family. It went on that when the show ends and the music stops, the journey is made beautiful by having that someone to share it with. Kobe Bryant thanked all for their support and prayers.

The divorce filing turned up nearly 10 years after she famously stuck by him after he came clean to having sex with a woman at a Colorado hotel. Their marriage was shove into the limelight when the desk clerk at a Vail-area resort hotel told police that Kobe Bryant had sexually assaulted her in 2003.

For this Bryant was charged by the Eagle County District Attorney shortly after the accusation. Vanessa Bryant at the time sat by her husband's side as Kobe publicly asked for forgiveness to her while admitting that he'd had consensual sex with the 19-year-old.

Turning to his wife, Bryant said at the time that Vanessa is a piece of his heart. She’s the air he breathe, and she’s the strongest person he knew, and he’s so sorry for having to put her through this, for having to put their family through this.

In 2005 Bryant settled a federal lawsuit with his accuser and the criminal charges against him were later dismissed.

Kobe and Vanessa have two daughters together.

Vanessa Bryant filed for divorce in December 2011, citing irreconcilable differences.
