The CBS crime drama “Hawaii Five-O” is set to make history in its third season in the remake of the popular seventies show starring Jack Lord, James MacArthur, Kam Fong, and Zulu.
In the January 14 episode three endings were filmed and fans were asked to choose which one of three suspects will be the guilty party by voting during the show.
The following week, in a special episode on Sunday January 20 – following the NFL AFC Championship game – the “Hawaii Five-O” episode will feature the music of sixties music legend Jimi Hendrix. The show will feature seven new tunes from the guitar virtuoso including “Bleeding Heart”, “Mojo Man”, “Hey Gypsy Boy”, “Inside Out”, “Crash Landing”, “Hear My Train a Comin”, and “Somewhere”. The music will be available in a new Hendrix album – “People, Hell and Angels” – being released March 5.
The revamped crime drama stars Alex O’Loughlin as Steve McGarrett, Scott Caan as Danny Williams, Daniel Dae Kim as Chin Ho Kelley, and Grace Park as Kono Kalakaua.
Recently the CBS crime procedural drama “CSI:NY” used the music ofin one of its episodes featuring the music of the rockers with no dialogue in the first 30 minutes of the show.
