Other states need to pay attention, especially in the West but I suspect New England, which also might seem attractive to retiring California boomers. Most of them can take their pensions to a new state if they move out. Hundreds of thousands have moved to Colorado.

Yes, Robert, shifting demographics create an impact on various states. The constant in this equation is that the nation needs to invest in its children. Unfortunately, we prioritize corporate profit and militarism.
