Skooter reports 01/12/13

This snake on a plane had a chaotic flight. Startled Qantas Airways passengers gawked out of their windows as a huge python hang on to a plane's wing during a two-hour flight from Australia's northeastern city of Cairns to Papua New Guinea.

The 3-meter or 10-foot python struggled to stay on the wing, stretching itself forward only to be driven back by the chilly wind.

Robert Weber, a passenger, videotaped the resisting crawler and told Australia's Fairfax Media that the wind battering the snake against the side of the plane left a bloody blotch.

The python was able to cling on until the plane landed in Port Moresby, but the crawler was DOA, (dead on arrival) a Qantas spokesman said.

The bizarre incident similar to the 2006 Hollywood thriller “Snakes on a Plane.”
