Bobcat shot dead after it attacked two persons in Massachusetts

The bobcat had been hiding in the garage in Boston, Massachusetts and pounced on Roger Mundell Jr, the unwary man when he garaged his car.

It jumped in his face and injured him with its claws and then went after the 15-year old nephew of Roger and bit him.

Ultimate, Roger's wife managed to pin it down with a walking stick and then shot it dead.

This has been reported in of dated 8th of January 2013.

All the three are being treated for suspected rabies because the behavior of the animal appears to suggest that it must be having rabies.

The bobcats are similar to domestic cats but are bigger – they can be up to one meter length and weigh up to 14-Kg.
