A man’s big feet aided in leading to his arrest in a burglary case, Monroe police said.
They saw massive footprints in the frozen grass when police officers responded to the burglary on Thursday morning, The Daily Herald of Everett reported. A couple of days earlier, officers immediately recalled of a 6-foot-9, 230-pound, shoe size 16 man who'd been arrested in a car theft case; he was Ben Pickrell.
They were lucky enough to spot Pickrell when they drove around the area. There were lots of Canadian coins in his pocket, which the homeowner reported had been stolen from his vehicle.
Pickrell was charged and detained in Snohomish County Jail for investigation of first-degree burglary. He is also charged for possessing meth, possessing stolen property and carnapping. He is on bail at a combined $125,000 Friday.
