We have known that waste from animals and human beings has been put to good use in agriculture and as source of energy, etc. This time wine connoisseurs in Korea have developed another novel way of profitably harnessing them. They distilled them into a wine called TSONGSUL which means “feces wine”, according to rocketnews24.com.
This is how Tsongsul is made. Feces of chickens, dogs, humans and bones of cat are saved, gathered and oven-baked mixed with distilled grain alcohol, medicinal herbs. The concoction is placed in containers and left to ferment in 4 months.
People especially those with illness patronize Tsongsul not for any other reason but with the hope that drinking it will cure their illnesses.
This wine may pair nicely with urine bread!
