Environment ministry carries out societal participation project in Assiut

Egypt, Assuit– Environment Ministry has embarked on a campaign with Asyut's youth to raise eco-awareness through planting 600 trees and 250 square meters of quack grass.

The Ministry also gave lectures on the role of youth in preserving the eco-system and economizing the consumption of resources.

On the streets, the campaign has repainted pavements and street lights while handing out booklets and posters to young people on environment-friendly practices.
