Mohamed Morsi

Egypt – President Mohamed Morsi is the most accomplished politician in 2012 followed by Amr Mussa and Hamdeen Sabahi, according to a poll by the Egyptian Center for Public Opinion Research (Baseera).

600 of the 1833 pollsters voted the Muslim Brotherhood's FJP as the best performing party while the others did not understand what a political party is or weren’t satisfied with any.

Preacher Mohamed Hassan came on top as the year's most favorite Islamic daeya leaving Amr Kahled in the second place.

The pollsters collectively named Adel Emam actor of the year over Nour el-Sherif and Ahmed el-Saqa, while Yusra, Mona Zaki and Elham Shaheen equally earned the year's beloved actress poll title.

In sports, Ahly's Mohamed Abu-Treika took a sweeping 82% of the votes leaving Shikabla and Barakat tailing behind with only less than 3% each.
