It was an unusual find of 800-year old human skeletons for the archeologists who had been supervising the digging of a drain in Cholula in central Mexico – the city is located roughly 120-Km from the capital.
The first skull was discovered on 8th of December 2012 followed by others – a total of 12 have been identified so far.
These belong to kids as well as adults as informed by the National Institute of Anthropology and History.

The skeletons were found just a few centimeters below a paved section of asphalt.
Last April, at a nearby burial ground, there were 17 skeletons, some of those were 700 years old.
