December 25: Pagan celebrations, not Jesus birthday

Jesus, the Christ, founder of the Christian religion was not born December 25. This is the recent controversial and timely posting by Ita Awak on facebook today.

Awak is my beloved brother in whom I am well pleased. He is one person I respect, when it comes to exposing the falsehoods in religion, especially Christianity.

The aeronautic engineer-turned –writer is bold, courageous, fearless and a man that will call a spade by no other name, but a spade.

Off course, for fanatical Christians, the Awaks of this world are anti-Christ and prayer warriors should be notified to deal with them. Dead wrong, if you ask me. These, so-called prayers warriors are just fooling themselves and wasting their precious time.

The Bible says the truth shall set all of us free. So, for these so-called born-again Christians, who think they are holier than the angels, the earlier they see beyond their noses, the better.

I fine the recent facebook posting of Awak quite revealing and I have a humanitarian duty to further spread the hard truth. Remember, it is only truth, not propaganda or cash-and-carry sermons that will set you and I free.

Here Awak: We were told that at the time of birth of the NT Jesus, some shepherds in this area were out grazing their flocks in the fields.

But anybody familiar with the Judean weather would find it extremely difficult to accept that sheep could be grazing in the biting cold of the December winter.

Contrary to erroneous beliefs, 25th December is the birthday of ALL the Sun-Gods of "Pre-Christian" Pagan cults. As a devout Sun-Worshipper & Pagan, Constantine forced the Roman Christianity he invented to adopt the birthday of the Mithraic Sun-God as the birthday of the NT Jesus in 325 CE.

According to him, this did not quite stick. So, at the 6th Ecumenical Council in 680 CE, Fathers of the Roman Church DECREED that Christians must celebrate the BD of the NT Jesus same day as the BD of the Sun-Gods of demonized paganism.

And thus, some 600 years AFTER the DEATH of the NT Jesus, the Pagan solstitial festival of the perennial celebration on 25th December became our CHRISTMAS.
And we, in all our "Christian Honesty," "believe" that our Jesus is "the reason for the season" of the Winter Solstice astro-theological festival we copied from the Pagans.
