A Monster Pig Of 11 feet Killed by an 11 Years Old Boy

Step aside Hogzilla, meet Monster Pig and the eleven-year-old boy who bagged a pig the size of a buffalo.

If the claims are true, Jamison Stone's trophy boar would be much bigger than Hogzilla, the legendary wild hog that was killed in south Georgia in 2004.

Jamison, 11, who killed his first deer at age 5, was hunting with father Mike Stone and two guides in east Alabama on May 3 when he bagged the hog he calls Monster Pig. He said he shot the enormous animal eight times with a 50-caliber revolver and chased it for three hours through wooded hills of Clay County before finishing it off with a point-blank shot.

Through it all, there was the fear that the animal would turn and charge them, as wild boars have a reputation for doing. His father said that, just to be extra safe, he and the guides had high-powered rifles aimed and ready to fire in case the beast, with 5-inch tusks, decided to charge.

With the animal finally dead in a creek bed on the 2,500-acre Lost Creek Plantation, a commercial hunting preserve in Delta, trees had to be cut down and a backhoe brought in to bring Jamison's prize out of the woods.

It was hauled on a truck to the Clay County Farmers Exchange in Lineville, where Jeff Kinder said they used his scale, recently calibrated, to weigh the hog. The prize pig weighed in at a staggering 1,051 pounds and measured 9 feet 4, from the tip of its snout to the base of its tail.

National Geographic experts, who unearthed Hogzilla’s remains, believe that legendary hog weighed about 800 pounds and was 8 feet long. If Jamison’s claims can be proven, his Monster Pig is nearly a foot and a half longer and 250 pounds heavier.

Jerry Cunningham of Jerry's Taxidermy who is mounting Monster Pig’s head said the animal measured 54 inches around the head, 74 inches around the shoulders and 11 inches from the eyes to the end of its snout.

"It's huge," he said. "It's just the biggest thing I've ever seen."

According to some experts, North America is home to a wide array of fearsome beasts including monster hogs and other unexplained phenomena. The Monster Spotter's Guide to North America geographically catalogs more than one hundred legendary monsters reported to inhabit the continent

So what! It is a good news and first time coverd by allvoices. ;)

Reply By RhondaRShearer RhondaRShearer | about 1 year ago

It is a hoax and it is reported here as if it were legitimate news ...that is not ethical. Do your homework.

If you are saying this to make me afraid,  I am not. I want people to review and test my facts. It's easy. If I am wrong I will admit it. I am grateful and will credit anyone who takes the time and trouble to look at my work and finds errors . We all make mistakes. Truth and accuracy are everyone's business. We all have to work together.

However this case is different. It is a hoax. You may not have a problem with people schemeing to trick the public for profit and mistreating a boy and an animal to do it--but I do.

Certainly hope you never, ever, make a mistake with your stories Rhonda after giving such harsh criticism so publicly.

This story has been debunked as a hoax long ago. The photo is an optical illusion  photo employing "forced perspective" --a typical fisherman's trick. The key is to pose way back from the game or hold the fish far in front . The prey looks large and you look small because you are further away. Go to :

http://www.stinkyjournalism.org/latest-journalism-news-updates-45.php .

In addition, the "monster pig " was in reality a gentle farm hog named "Fred."

The hunters even allowed the pig to bleed out instead of putting it out of it's misery. The boy tried and failed to kill the animal for 3 hours, shooting it 9 times. The professional guides did not want to shoot the animal themselves because they were told by a local TV station that if anyone but the boy shot the pig, there would be no news story.

The press were even invited to attend the hunt but never fessed up. This was not hunting but a publicity stunt gone wrong that led to animal cruelty.

The truth needs to be known. It is unethical to run this old news story as if it were true when long ago it has been debunked. People have a right to knwo the truth.

I am telling it. Why would that make people angry?

The boy can hardly be left in peace while the father still has the web site up.http://www.monsterpig.com. The father has the boy flaunting his use of a giant hand gun. No remorse for the terrible way "Fred" the gentle pig was killed . Painful belly wound with 9 shots over a three hour period is not hunting.  No adult put the animal out of its misery because the news media told them "no news story" if any adult shot the pig.

To me.. Rhoda u are just a jelous, he got many views!!!!!

its a great story, doenst matter if its old or not, he is the first to cover

why dont u keep busy findind news? stop caring about others lives ok??

Reply By RhondaRShearer RhondaRShearer | about 1 year ago

The problem is not that the news is old but that it is wrong.

It is well known that the pig is not wild and was a gentle farm animal . Do you want to read news that is wrong?

Reply By RhondaRShearer RhondaRShearer | about 1 year ago

That is untrue. I am not seeking views. That, with all due respect, is silly. It is a great story when you realize the truth--that the the global public was hoaxed by AP.

I can not believe that you are defending fake news? I say this because most people do not. Before I added comments, people would be fooled by what is falsely presented as true here on this web site.

Unless this news site and the people who write on it care about truth and accuarcy, it will be doomed to fail.

Get a life Rhonda! Why dont u be busy with ur news?

Posted By RhondaRShearer RhondaRShearer | about 1 year ago

And . pleeze, get your facts straight. Even the monster pig hunters said the hog was 9. 4 feet long--not 11 feet ! Please correct your error.

Check your facts!  Go to http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,275524,00.html.

Every news report says 9 feet 4 inches as the monster pig's length.

Mr.RhondaRShearer u r actually 101% correct that this is an old story...& that is what i thought while posting this news here on allvoices, but this website is not meant for recent or the latest the news only infact it has been made 2 share the news u know & the news which u think is interesting.

Moreover, while posting this news i thought that it may be old for some but would be new for many...

Reply By RhondaRShearer RhondaRShearer | about 1 year ago

I see your point. However, you have to research what is the last or most recent updated reports. This is important because errors just get repeated over and over again.

Think about the recent "Big Foot" hoax recently in the news. People believed it for awhile...then more facts came out and the culprits even admitted they tricked the public...you can not now go back to the original first reports and say it is okay to post as legitmate news .  That would be wrong. See  "Big Foot discovery is a hoax"

http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2008/08/080818-bigfoot-dna.html

So take the key words "monster pig" or any other key words in a report you want to post and search for the most recent stories before you select something to post here or anywhere.

Just because you are re-posting news does not mean you are not ethically bound to do reseach before posting.

There are so many errors in the news, this is the least you can do.

Its inaccurate for u not for other people here. So keep on with ur theory we are enjoying this news

u are being boring now

why dont u stop? U should be worried in finding some nice news to put here

I wont waste my time anymore replying to u

Reply By carolpadovezi carolpadovezi | about 1 year ago

Hello Uziii, I think u should contact Allvoices Team to report this abuse from him

u put a nice news and just he is complaning, but in fact he just gave u more views :P

Reply By RhondaRShearer RhondaRShearer | about 1 year ago

How can posting inaccurate news be "nice"? Read the headline of this report. Go read the FOX News link. The 11 feet length is WRONG. The pig was, according to all press reports and the hunters as 9 feet 4 inches.

Why are you defending obvious errors of fact as okay with you and worse something you need to go to management about?
