I recently came across this chart in the Chicago Tribune. What it shows is the breakdown of donations made to McCain and Obama camp by selected professions. Obviously the biggest single group giving to Obama is lawyers-ratio is almost 4x to McCain and amounts to $21.6 million. On the flip side people in the Oil, gas, petroleum industry where McCain has most of his support, gave almost 3-4x amounting to only $739,658. Based on these numbers, Obama has a favorable advantage.
