Skooter reports 12/14/12
At the Lane County Courthouse, a long line was in progress to get a marriage license, and a groom had a simple answer as to why this day.
Roger Haxby said it's just a special day - 12-12 of 12. It's never going to happen again. However, he said, some things do happen again…like love.
Teresa Bainter-Haxby, the bride-to-be said, in fact they have a little bit longer story. They were married before for 12 years, and then they were divorced for 12 years. It took them this long to get everything figured out, so 12-12-12 has a special meaning for them both.
So that’s it folks. They were surrounded by friends and family, the couple finally exchanged their wedding vows in the Lane County. Once again, congratulations! Hopefully the second time around will last forever.
