Disney Princesses and the Voice Actors Behind the Disney Animated Characters and Their Photos

Disney animated characters and the real actors and actresses behind their voices (especially Disney Princesses): You're probably already familiar with Disney's most beloved animated characters – these are classic (and some new) cartoons and princesses that have been cherished for more than 75 years. Walt Disney's Snow White, which had a premiere date in 1937, started it all. And from there, other classic Disney animated movies yielded some of the all-time favorite Disney princesses from films like: Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, The Little Mermaid, Pocahontas, Mulan, The Princess and the Pea, Aladdin and Tangled.

Some of the actresses who were the voices behind the Disney Princesses are: Adriana Caselotti as Snow White in Disney's Snow White, Ilene Woods as Cinderella, Mary Costa as Princess Aurora / Briar Rose in Sleeping Beauty – a Disney film, Irene Bedard (Judy Kuhn the actress singing as Pocahontas) as Pocahontas, Ming-Na as Fa Mulan in Disney's Mulan, Anika Noni Rose as Tiana / Tia in Disney's version of The Princess and the Frog, singer and actress Mandy Moore was the voice behind Rapunzel in Disney's hit Tangled, Jodi Benson was the voice actress for Princess Ariel in Disney's The Little Mermaid, and Paige O'Hara was Belle in Beauty and the Beast (Celine Dion sang Beauty and Beast for the soundtrack and radio edit). Linda Larkin was Princess Jasmine in Aladdin (Broadway star Lea Salonga supplied the singing voice of Princess Jasmine, belting away A Whole New World. Vanessa Williams provided a rendition for the soundtrack and radio edit).

The men behind the voices of some of the Disney princes: Harry Stockwell as The Prince in Snow White, William Phipps (Mike Douglas, singing) as Prince Charming in Cinderella, Bill Shirley as Prince Phillip in Sleeping Beauty, BD Wong as Captain Li Shang in Mulan (singing voice provided by Donny Osmond), Bruno Capos as Prince Naveen in The Princess and the Frog, Scott Weinger as Aladdin, Mel Gibson voiced John Smith in Disney's Pocahontas, Zachary Levi as Eugene "Flynn Rider" Fitzherbert in Tangled, Christopher Daniel Barnes was the voice actor of Prince Eric in The Little Mermaid and Robby Benson was the voice behind the Disney animated Beast in Beauty and the Beast.

Take a look at the following photos of the voices and actors behind the animated Disney Princesses and princes. What do you think about the real-life actors and actresses looks compared to their Disney cartoon counterparts?
