It’s the last results show before the finals and crowning of a new champion on “The Voice”. By the end of the night only three singers will remain to sing it out for the title of “The Voice” on season three. Hostrevealed that fans continued their record breaking casting of votes. The artists also continued to top the iTunes charts with the number one rock single, the number one pop single, and the number one and number two spots on the iTunes singles chart.
Though they have been on the same team all season, team Blake’s Terry and Cassadee have never sung together…until tonight when they performed a song by the Icelandic group Of Monsters and Men.
Season two finalist from team Cee Lo Juliet Simms returned to “The Voice” stage to perform her new single “Wild Child”.
In the first results of the night, a member of team Blake became the first singer in the finals when Carson called out the name of Terry McDermott.
Team Blake’s country girl RaeLynn made a return to “The Voice” and performed her new single “Boyfriend” – a song she co-wrote with some fellow Voice alums.
After giving a performance of holiday songs for President Obama, First Lady, and Vice-President and Dr. Biden; Chris Mann returned to “The Voice” stage for a performance of his new single “Roads”
The second results of the night named the second finalist and a clean sweep for coach Blake Sheltdon when Carson called out Cassadee Pope’s name.
The final musical performance fo the night was a duet from team Cee Lo members Nicholas David and Trevin Hunte of “Hero” by Mariah Carey.
In the final results Cee Lo must lose one of his team members. Before Carson revealed those results, Cee Lo said that it was hard to see his best people pitted against each other; but added may the best man win. The final singer moving on to the finals is…
Trevin Hunte – who was surprised he had made it as far as he did – was eliminated from the competition.
Next week it’s the final performances for the three remaining singers.
