seemed to be the date for the night for Producer/writer/director/lyricist Jack O'Brien as they attended the Broadway Dreams Foundation Champagne and Caroling Gala at Celsius on December 10, 2012 in New York City.
The two seemed to keep quite chummy and intimate – as in best friends – while they shared a table at the gala, posing for photographs in the arrivals area and also as they enjoyed their evening together.
Katie Holmes wore a floor-length strapless purple gown, teamed with emerald green satin sandals, leaving her hair long and loose, while Jack O'Brien looked dapper in his black tuxedo and spotted bowtie as well as a fringed black satin scarf.
O’Brien, the 73-year-old Tony Award winner is also directing “Dead Accounts” the Broadway play that Holmes is starring in opposite actors , , and Jayne Houdyshell.
The 33-year-old Katie Holmes, Tom Cruise’s soon-to-be ex-wife (has the divorce been finalized?), was not the only one in purple tonight – Broadway Dreams Foundation executive director Annette Tanner rocked a snazzy purple one-shoulder number with plenty of rouching and a jeweled pin near the hip.
Joining Holmes and O’Brien at the Champagne and Caroling Gala were actor Billy Porter, actresses Amy Poliakoff (in a lovely draped black velvet gown), Lisa Howard and Morgan James as well as TV personality Countess LuAnn de Lesseps. Take a look at the slideshow linked here…
