Brian Harnois, paranormal investigator, is possibly missing or dead after a rumor of suicide note on Facebook hit the social network. Harnois Facebook page is swarming with comments for him to come home safe and suicide is not the answer. Is this a hoax or is there some truth to this?

Well, Jason Hawes, founder of The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS) and lead investigator of 'Ghost Hunters' on SyFy, made a formal statement on his Facebook page at midnight on December 9, 2012.

"To all, I have heard about Brian and may hope is he will be found safe. I was able to talk with him for a while about a month or so back and he seemed in a good place at that time. I hope he finds that good place again."

Brian Joseph Harnois just celebrated his 35th birthday on Dec 6th and was born in Milford, Massachusetts. At age 11, he had an experience that began his interest in the paranormal and he's been investigating ever since. Harnois has worked on PBS in 'Haunted RI', 'Ghost Hunters' and 'Ghost Hunters Internation' before departing.

Brian Harnois is also a father to two little girls, MacKenzie and Kylie.
